H-1 University
Honest-1® provides a complete training program for all of our franchisees and its employees called H-1 University.
Our training programs are designed to give you the knowledge, tools and skills needed in order to become a successful Center Operator or Area Representative. Our initial program for a new franchisee is comprised of three weeks and an area representative receives four weeks of training. All new franchisees complete Manager School, Operator School and Field Training. Area Representatives complete all the franchisee training in addition to a one week Area Representative course.
The Honest-1® Manager School is focused on learning the front end of running one of our centers. It comprises everything from sales to bay management. Upon completing manager's school the franchisee will know the basics of running the shop area and the front counter. Highlights of Manager School are:
- Software Training
- Sales Training
- Bay Management
- Estimating and Pricing
- Customer Service
- Inventory Management
The Honest-1® Operator School is focused on learning the back end of running a center. It comprises everything from accounting to marketing. Upon completing Operator School the franchisee will know the basic skills and tools necessary to run the back end of their center. Highlights of Operator School are:
- Accounting
- Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Outside Sales
- Software training
- Safety and Personnel
- Leadership, Communication and Management
- Business Planning
Field Training is a week long course at a designated mentoring center. Field Training is completed after the completion of the Manager and Operator Schools. During this week the franchisee will follow a written guide in order to observe everything they have learned in a real world environment. This is a great opportunity to work side by side and ask questions of technicians, managers and operators before opening their own center. These weeks typically lead to lasting business relationships and friendships.
The Honest-1® Area Representative School would be the final week of training for Area Representatives only. This week is focused on all the duties of developing and managing territories. Highlights of the Area Representative's school are:
- Timelines for opening, supporting and visiting the centers in your territory
- Understanding and reviewing center financials
- Understanding Key Performance Areas
- Writing Action Plans
- Developing your territory
- Understanding Real Estate
- Handling Leads
In addition, through stategic partnerships within the automotive industry, Honest-1® provides cutting edge technical training for automotive technicians including ASE preparatory courses.
