Jack Keilt
President and CEO
With more than 30 years of franchise industry experience, Jack has been the driving force behind Honest-1 growth and success since 2008. Immediately before taking on this leadership role, Jack founded and served as CEO of Franchise Venture Associates, LLC, a company providing consulting, sales and development assistance to small franchise companies looking to expand. Prior to that, he served as a Managing Director for Fantastic Sams, and oversaw the sales and development of 42 units in a two-year period. After purchasing the national company, Jack became President and CEO of Fantastic Sams International and it's three operating subsidiaries, including 1,400 salons. He's also held executive positions at Ralston Purina, Jack-in-the-Box, Bojangle, Dryclean USA, and Burger King.
A graduate of Penn State University, Jack also attended graduate school at CCNY – Bernard Baruch School. He currently serves on the International Franchise Association (IFA), Franchise Relations Committee and has served in the past on the IFA International Affairs Committee, and as Chairman for the IFA's Franchise Business Network in Boston, MA (www.nefranchise.org).
Rissy Sutherland
Chief Operating Officer
Rissy brings a wealth of automotive industry experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer, a position she has held since April 2008. After learning the automotive industry from the inside out while working in her family's shop for 10 years and holding every role inside the automotive business, Rissy established herself as a leader in the category while serving first as Director of Training and then as Vice President of Operations and Training for Moran Industries, where she managed all operations and training for over 200 repair facilities.
Rissy received both her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Human Resources and Training degrees from Clemson University in South Carolina in the 1990's while working in her family's automotive facilities. In addition to this she was recognized as one of the top 40 people under 40 by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2009.
Chip Baranowski
CFE, VP of Franchise Development
Chip joined H-1 in January of 2011 as Vice President of Franchise Development. Chip has over 25 years of diverse experience within the franchise industry, mostly focused on franchise development. He ran a successful franchise consulting business from 2002 – 2006, and has headed up franchise sales and development departments for several large franchise companies, including United Franchise Group, Unishippers Global Logistics, and DataPreserve. Chip completed the International Franchise Associations CFE program in 2010 and is also a Sandler Sales President Club lifetime member. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
